Head Varsity Coach, Multiple Positions Open: Girls Division

Jesuit High School Sacramento is currently looking to fill head coaching positions in Athletics for the new Girls Division athletic programs opening in the 2027-2028 school year. All are seasonal & stipend positions.

CIF Sports By Season

Fall: Cross Country, Flag Football, Golf, Tennis, Volleyball, and Water Polo
Winter: Basketball, Soccer, and Wrestling
Spring: Lacrosse, Softball, Swimming & Diving, and Track & Field

Position Summary

The roles of each coach consist of all matters related to the specific athletic program in conjunction with the Athletic Department. 

Availability at Open House in October of 2026 and Family Welcome Night in April of 2027 prior to season starting in the 2027-28 school year.

Volunteer Coaching Position: Nominal Stipend to be determined.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall supervision, organization, promotion, and maintenance of
  • the athletic program (i.e. varsity, JV, frosh, etc.)
  • Responsible for the supervision of the assistant coaches       
  • Vertical alignment of the program, allowing simpler transitions for athletes from level to level
  • Submission of equipment needs
  • Operating within the approved budget
  • Managing communication to families for all related matters
  • Maintains roster with the Athletic Director for eligibility purposes

Minimum Qualifications

Coaching experience of 3-5 years of high school or collegiate level. Ability to work with multiple levels of players and ability to develop all skill levels.
