As part of our curriculum at Jesuit High School, Freshman-Seniors are required to engage in service each year. We encourage service to be incorporated into each student’s everyday life.

Rising Sophomores and Juniors can work towards fulfilling their year-long service requirement during the summer. They are welcome to begin service to count towards the next academic year the day after Final Exams conclude. Students should follow all guidelines explained during the orientations they received in their English 1 (Freshmen) or Theology 2B (Sophomores) classes.

Freshmen complete service through a service-learning project in the context of their Theology 1 class and service completed outside of that semester does not count towards their graded requirement.

Seniors with pre-approved Independent Study plans should stay on track with the plan they submitted to the Office of Service and Justice. Seniors registered for the Period 4 Service course should accept the Google Classroom invitation they received and complete the two tasks assigned to them.
