FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sacramento, CA — Jesuit High School Sacramento Board of Trustees Chair Todd Stone announced today that Rev. John P. McGarry, S.J., Jesuit Sacramento President is taking four-weeks away from campus to rest and address a non-COVID-19 heart arrhythmia issue. He will return and resume his duties thereafter.

During this period, the school’s day-to-day operations will be led by the senior administrative team, which includes Principal Michael Wood, ’99, Chief Financial Officer Anne Long, and Vice President for Advancement Maureen Longyear. The entire Jesuit community is keeping Fr. McGarry in our thoughts and prayers, as we know he will be praying for us.

Jesuit Sacramento looks forward to his return to campus.
