Algebra Tutoring (GP 206)

Algebra tutoring for freshmen enrolled in Algebra 1 or Geometry students working on Algebra Reviews is available during all community periods in GP206. Students are encouraged to drop in if they need review or practice in any algebra concepts.

Brotherhood Stories

Mr. Ziarmal Fazli and Captain Nick Black in Afghanistan (Welcome Center) – This is a special event, sponsored by the Office of Service & Justice.  Mr. Ziarmal Fazli and his family live in Sacramento, where they relocated on a Special Immigrant Visa after Mr. Fazli served as an interpreter for U.S. forces during the war in Afghanistan. Captain (Ret.) Nick Black served in Afghanistan, and now lives in South Carolina. Mr. Fazli was his interpreter and they will share about their work together, relationship, and deep knowledge of Afghanistan. 

Public Speaking 101 (LM 104)

David Ford has over a decade of experience coaching public figures within the State of California on public speaking. He will be coming to present to the Speech and Debate Team and any interested students about must-learn tips and tricks on how to be an effective public speaker.
