The required Service & Justice hours’ third-quarter deadline is Friday, March 8. The following are the benchmark requirements for each grade level at the quarter/semester deadline:

• Freshmen: 6 hours during the semester the student is enrolled in Theology 1 (3 hours from Freshman Day of Service + 3 hours on own time that semester) If your student already completed Theology 1 during Semester 1, he does not have a service requirement second semester.
• Sophomores: 12 hours (16 total for the year)
• Juniors: 15 hours (20 total for the year)

As this is a graduation requirement, Service & Justice hours are graded on a pass/fail basis.  The students’ Service & Justice Classroom pages have all the information and resources needed to succeed, but students should reach out to the Office of Service & Justice if they have any questions.
