Where We Are: Building the Path Forward
posted Dec 18, 2025
As shown in our milestone timeline, Jesuit is in the “Pathways & Proceeding Groups Built Out” phase, laying the groundwork for a smooth co-divisional transition. Here are a few things happening now:
- Counseling & Athletics department leaders visited Jesuit Portland to learn from their successful transition in the early 2000s from an all-boys to a co-educational school.
- Working committees at both the Board and school levels are expanding the framework and developing operational parameters.
- An on-site Transition Coordinator was hired to support and streamline the administrative aspects of the change process.
- Faculty, staff, and Board attended “visioneering sessions” with renowned strategy and foresight facilitator Jim Oswald to bring planning “off the page and into color,” revealing the soul and heartbeat of what a co-divisional Jesuit education will be. (Watch for more sessions coming for students, parents, and alumni)
