Service & Justice Exercise: Walk A Mile in My Shoes
in Welcome Center during Community Period
Refugee Awareness Exercise
While it is impossible to fully comprehend what it is like to be forced from your home and live as a refugee, the Jesuit Refugee Service’s Walk a Mile in My Shoes exercise allows individuals to begin to understand what it might be like. Walk A Mile helps people understand the daily lives of 100 million displaced persons worldwide.
Students will travel through 8 stations setup throughout campus: border entry, shelter, food, water, medical, education, destination, and advocacy.
Students register through MobileServe.
