The National Football League (NFL) is already a fantastic sport to watch. With 32 different teams to root for, and an 18 week long season not including the playoffs, there is a whole lot of fun that comes with being a fan of a team. But what if there was a way to be a fan of two different teams? Well, one can do so when participating in Fantasy Football.

Fantasy Football is a way to enhance the entire viewing experience of the NFL. You first draft a team full of your favorite players. You can trade, cut, and add players as well. Fantasy Football simulates how one can be a General Manager, all controlled from your phone.

Another aspect of Fantasy Football is the complete variety and customization that comes to each league. There are Points Per Reception (PPR), half-PPR, and non-PPR scoring. You can have a tight end premium where your tight end scores double the points, making them more valuable. You can choose a whole defensive team or an independent defensive player depending on your league. There is a choice between roster spots, flex positions, and even an injured-reserve slot. The variety that comes with fantasy football makes it a must play.

Another great benefit of playing Fantasy Football is getting to enjoy the NFL in an expanded way. Your favorite NFL team could be on a bye week or won’t play until Monday night. However, in fantasy football, you can still root for teams of the players that you’ve drafted. This creates a way to engage more thoroughly with the NFL.

Overall, when playing fantasy football, it is unlike any other experience. The ability to stay rooting for different teams throughout the season is riveting. It creates a social engagement with your friends and family. Playing fantasy football overall enhances the experience of watching the NFL.
