Next Steps – HS Level Academic Classes (Late Registration)
You are registered. That's great! What's next?
Here’s what comes next following registration in Jesuit High School’s Summer Academic Classes:
1. Your student is now registered in the requested course. For current Jesuit High School students or students who will enter Jesuit in the fall of 2027, your placement in the course is subject to approval by the Office for Academics. We will reach out to you if we have any questions or if a change is needed.
2. Books: You are strongly encouraged to order your books from the online vendor of your choice now so that you will have them for the first day of classes. Some classes require a traditional (paper) textbook. Some classes require an ebook. In this case, the student will be required to bring a tablet, e-reader or laptop for use in the classroom. A smart phone is not sufficient. Click here to view the Summer 2023 Booklist. Please allow time for order processing and shipping.
2. Technology Requirements:
Students will be required to access Google Classroom, their
Jesuit assigned email account and other online resources on
campus and at home for homework and assignments. Students should
plan to bring a tablet or laptop to campus. A smartphone will not
be sufficient. Each student will be given access to the wireless
internet service on Jesuit’s campus.
3. Tuition is due by May 30th.
Please log on to view your account on the Summer Registration
Portal by clicking
here. If you have questions regarding your tuition balance or
payment plan, please feel free to email us at
summerschool@jesuithighschool.org.
4. Orientation: There will be
an optional (but strongly recommended) orientation session on
Monday, June 12th at 6:00p on Zoom. During this
session, the teacher will discuss the daily class schedule, how
technology will be integrated into each class, student
expectations and will answer student and parent questions.
Parents will receive an email on Thursday, June 8th with the link
to sign in to this Zoom session and the credentials for the
student to log-in to their Jesuit email. Students should log-in
to their student email to read and respond to any messages
received prior to the first day of class and throughout the
summer. This email will also include the classroom locations and
teacher assignments. This information is not available prior to
June 8th.
5. Car Pool Listing: If you completed the Car Pool Interest Form indicating that you are interested in receiving a listing of other families in your area who may wish to arrange a car pool, we will send out the listing to interested parents via email on May 25th. Families are welcome to log back into their summer registration account to complete this form up to May 23rd to be added to this listing.
6. Attendance Policy: A quick reminder regarding our attendance policy for our high school level summer academic classes:
Our attendance policy allows a student to miss:
1 day between 6/13/23 and 6/30/23
1 day between 7/5/23 and 7/21/23
If a student exceeds 1 absence per semester as described above,
we are not permitted to grant credit for the course. All absences
are strongly discouraged. Summer School moves too fast and covers
too much information in a short amount of time that students
should not plan to miss any days, if possible. Missing a
day of class is comparable to missing a week of instruction in a
regular school semester. Vacations should be scheduled before or
after summer school.
Questions: For any questions that you may have

link includes information about how classes are administered, the
daily schedule, transcripts, attendance, etc.
For any other questions not covered in the FAQ, please email us

academic credit classes will close on May 30th. Registrations for
all of our Sports Camps, Academy Camps and Camp Marauder will
remain open (as space permits) up to the start of each program.
