The Veteran’s Appreciation Club and the World Languages Department are co-hosting alumni speaker and FBI special agent John Pope ’88 on Tuesday, December 7 during Community Period. Special Agent Pope investigates national security matters and is a team leader for the Evidence Response Team.  He will be discussing his work and ways to leverage second language skills into a career.  Prior to John’s employment in the FBI, he served in the United States Marine Corps, the United States Army Reserve and worked at the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. During John’s military service he learned Chinese and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
