SPECIAL EDITION of Staying Connected – Oct 9
Our Return to Campus, Training Week and Start of In-person Classes

Update

Dear Parents, Students, Faculty, Staff, and Friends

We are excited to welcome students back to campus! The endeavor to return to campus and restructure the second quarter of the fall semester is a large and complex task that we are navigating with a multidisciplinary team. We appreciate your support of this process and your patience as we learn together how to do this effectively and safely. There are many critical details in today’s message from the Leadership Team.

As we have said since March, our goal is to have our Jesuit students back on campus while still maintaining a robust and parallel distance learning program for those that are unable, for a variety of reasons, to attend in person.

If you are certain that you will not come to campus for the balance of the semester, we will ask that you complete this form.

As I shared with the approximately 450 families that joined in the webinars earlier this week, we do not want our opening of campus to be quickly halted by an outbreak that requires a return to distance learning for all students. We also want to do everything we can to support our teachers who will be with the students in classrooms every day.

Below you will find detailed instructions and the updated Safe Return Plan on what families need to do in preparation for their sons’ return to campus which begins next week, October 12-16 with training; and then with classes the week of October 19.

Please review these details carefully as there are specific action items that must be completed by Monday, October 12, 2020.
