Loyola Guild is a nonprofit organization founded in 1957 to build community and support Jesuit High School. It’s a great way to make new friends and become involved in the Jesuit High School community.
Meetings and events are open to all members and prospective members. Bring a friend!
Loyola Guild is pleased to announce its 61st annual Christmas Tree Lane event, “Tidings of Joy.” It will be held on Sunday, November 26, and Monday, November 27, 2017, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Sacramento (Arden Way). We will have three shows, in a different order this year to provide options for attendance:
Welcome to Jesuit High School! My name is Andrea Studer and I have the honor of representing our freshman class this year in the Loyola Guild. My son, David, is a freshman; and my son, Mark, is a sophomore this coming school year. I hope your son’s transition to high school is going smoothly and that you have been able to make plans to attend Mandatory Freshman Orientation, the Back to School Bash Welcome Celebration, and Freshman Overnight Retreat.
My name is Christine Draa and I will be your Loyola Guild Class Rep again this year. My son is Duke, and I also have a son who is a senior this year (ug…how did THAT happen?!). There are lots of great back to school events coming up and I hope to see you on campus soon.
Loyola Guild of Jesuit High School presents Christmas Tree Lane each year. This year we are hoping to include as many boys, moms and dads as possible. We have cut the number of rehearsals and moved the shows around a bit for better participation.
Once again, we will be at the DoubleTree Hilton Sacramento. This year’s schedule is Sunday, November 26, luncheon at 1:30 pm; Monday, November 27, brunch at 11:00 am; and our Gala Dinner on Monday night at 6:30 pm.
We hope you are considering participation in the 2017 Christmas Tree Lane Fashion Show as a Model or in Senior Celebration – both programs can include your parents as well.
We are hosting a Mom’s Night Out Appetizer party on Monday, August 28th. This is a great opportunity to get your questions answered, turn in your applications and socialize with friends. Please email any of the CTL chairs below to RSVP and get party location.
Are you looking to fulfill VIP Hours for the school year? Volunteering for Christmas Tree Lane (CTL) is a great way to get your hours fulfilled and make some new friends!
This meeting is open to everyone, including those who have already volunteered to help with this fabulous tradition, as well as folks who want to learn more about CTL and want to know how to get involved.
The “Tidings of Joy” will come alive at this year’s Christmas Tree Lane! The 2017 Jesuit High School celebration will feature a spectacular fashion show with Jesuit boys and their moms and dads, St. Francis High School seniors, and delicious dining and specialty boutique shopping. Gather your friends for fun holiday shopping and entertainment!
Jesuit’s first Speaker Series is a forum on the current public health crisis related to opioid misuse and overdose deaths. This parent-only event (no students) will feature two speakers – Christina Nugent, current Jesuit parent, whose older son died from his addiction to opioids and Tom Russell, M.D., (‘86) who practices emergency medicine.
Loyola Guild is a dynamic group of women working together for the betterment of the Jesuit High School community since 1957. We are “Mothers for Others.” We are the driving force behind numerous events that create fun and friendship for our boys, parents, alumni and faculty. These events have become a tradition at our school and in our community and both help raise funds for Jesuit’s Scholarship Endowment and provide support to our student body.
