Jesuit Robotics Earns World Championship Runner-Up Finish, Extends 21-Year Legacy Competing Against Universities Worldwide
Sacramento students place second at the 2026 MATE ROV World Championship, earning their 14th podium finish while competing against the world's top collegiate engineering teams

Jesuit High School Sacramento’s ROVOTICS team continued one of the most remarkable traditions in international student engineering competitions by earning second place overall at the 2026 MATE ROV World Championship, outperforming nearly every college and university team in the world while competing in the event’s highest-level division.

2026 Commissioner’s Cup for Seventh Straight Year
California Interscholastic Federation Sac-Joaquin Section award for most successful athletic program

Jesuit High School Sacramento has once again claimed the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Commissioner’s Cup for the 2025–2026 school year, continuing its remarkable run as the top overall boys athletic program since the award’s inception in 2017.

The Commissioner’s Cup honors the most complete and successful athletic programs across the section, with points awarded for postseason success, including championships, runner-up finishes, and semifinal appearances. The Marauders’ continued dominance reflects consistent excellence across all sports and seasons.

Students Serving During the Summer

As part of our curriculum at Jesuit High School, Freshman-Seniors are required to engage in service each year. We encourage service to be incorporated into each student’s everyday life.

Rising Sophomores and Juniors can work towards fulfilling their year-long service requirement during the summer. They are welcome to begin service to count towards the next academic year the day after Final Exams conclude. Students should follow all guidelines explained during the orientations they received in their English 1 (Freshmen) or Theology 2B (Sophomores) classes.

Student Schedules Now Available in PowerSchool
For Fall 2026

All students may now log into their PowerSchool account to access their student schedules for the 2026-2027 academic year. (Freshman students need to open their Jesuit email accounts to get access to PowerSchool.)

2026–2027 Textbook Ordering Now Available Through EdTech
Jesuit High School's new online bookstore partnership provides students with personalized textbook lists, easy ordering, and convenient access through their Jesuit email account.

Jesuit High School is excited to announce a new partnership with EdTech, our online bookstore provider for the 2026–2027 school year. This new platform simplifies the textbook ordering process and provides students with a personalized dashboard containing their required course materials.

Beginning July 8, students can access the EdTech bookstore by logging in with their Jesuit email address. Once logged in, students will be directed to their ShelfIt dashboard, where they will find textbook lists and all required materials associated with their course schedule.

About the Retreat

This kick-off to your son’s four years at Jesuit is a highlight of Freshman year. Your son will spend the retreat with his Senior Big Brother, who will serve as a guide and mentor for your son as he begins his journey at Jesuit. Our newest Marauders will build camaraderie with their new classmates and learn about campus life at Jesuit. Special parent programming is also a part of the retreat on Saturday morning. Because the experience of the Freshman Retreat is so important for new students, participation in the entire retreat is MANDATORY for all Freshmen.

Parents, whether or not you are able to attend, please RSVP so we will have an accurate count for lunch and parent programming on Saturday morning.

As we continue making strong progress toward a co-divisional educational model and prepare to embark on our first admissions season welcoming both young men and young women to apply, we are evolving how we share updates with our community.

This stand-alone Co-Divisional Update has served an important role in communicating our planning and progress. Going forward, these updates will be integrated into our regular communications channels and also remain accessible on our website.

Senior Portrait Deadline
Session includes the gown photo used in the yearbook

Throughout summer and fall, Bill Smith will be sending out notifications to book senior portraits. Please note the deadline to have your Senior Portrait included in the school yearbook is October 31. Click on the link to access Bill Smith Photography’s Jesuit Senior Portrait page, select your studio, and select your photography option for your pictures. We recommend allowing plenty of time as appointments can fill up closer to the deadline.
