Weekly Update – October 28

Update

Dear Parents,

A record-breaking storm, flooding, power outages, and social media at its worst, it’s been quite a week. We always do the best we can under unexpected circumstances that present themselves to us – and this week brought us several. We are grateful for your understanding, your confidence in our safety decisions, and your patience in working through the challenges of this week. As always, we are in this together.

“We proceed prayerfully together as a school community, as we do in all things, asking for God’s grace, wisdom, and healing.”

When faced with adversity, fear, frustration, and uncertainty, we are called to take comfort in what we know to be true. God protects us. God is good to us. Our faith gives us strength.

It is also in these times that we recall the many blessings in our lives and find ways to show gratitude. Jesuit is blessed with so many good people who work tirelessly to support the heart of the mission and who keep our students at the forefront in all we do.

Let us pray in thanksgiving for the Jesuit High School community.

Gratefully,

Rev. John P. McGarry, S.J., President
