Joint Message from the Principals – Holy Bowl 2024

Dear Families:

Sacramento’s family of Catholic high schools is thrilled to welcome our community for the 53rd Holy Bowl this Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Hughes Stadium. This annual event is a fine tradition of good-spirited rivalry and a chance to showcase our athletic accomplishments and enormous school spirit and pride. Students who attended years of grammar school together have an opportunity to catch up and socialize, and this is an opportunity to promote Catholic education to the broader Sacramento community.

Reminders for the start of school

Parents and Friends,

I hope this message finds you well and that your summer activities have been restful and joyful. Since I last wrote to you, we have been busy with an array of summer projects to update our facilities. We are close to finishing the renovation of five science classrooms, and we are working on the highly anticipated stadium lights project. The Summer Programs have been a huge success, with students of all ages taking credit classes, college application workshops, athletic camps, academy camps, and Camp Marauder. I am pleased to report that we are fully staffed with four new teachers and one new wellness counselor. Teachers are engaging in a variety of professional development programs and are starting to get ready for the always busy academic year.

The Stadium Lights are a go! Let’s brighten student life together

More than 60 years ago, the early visionaries and builders of Jesuit High School started the work of placing brick on brick on brick. They have entrusted the continued growth of this wonderful school to US, and we’re inviting you to build with them, to build with us, and to build FOR your sons and the generations of students and families who will enjoy the permanent lights on our field long after our time here.
