SACRAMENTO, CA -  The Board of Trustees of Jesuit High School of Sacramento today provides an update on the conclusion of service of Rev. John P. McGarry, S.J., as President. On the advice of his physicians, Fr. McGarry will be unable to return to Jesuit this year in order to focus on his health and wellness.

Stanford Settlement Launches Food Drive with help from Jesuit High School Students

SACRAMENTO, CA – Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center has launched its Annual Christmas Basket Program – “Operation Cratchit.” For 54 years, Stanford Settlement has been assisting individuals, families, and the elderly with additional resources during the holiday season.

12 National Merit Commended Students
Scored among top 50,000 of all PSAT test takers

Previously we celebrated our four National Merit Semi-finalists; this week, we are proud to share and celebrate our 12 National Merit Commended Students! These students were among the top 50,000 of all PSAT test takers last year, which signifies a wonderful achievement and bodes well for their success on other standardized tests like the SAT. National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists
Three Jesuit Marauders Selected

Congratulations to three members of the senior class who have been named Semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition: Dylan Tsoi, Charles Sander, and Enoch Cheng.

The first level of the competition is based on performance on the PSAT from last year; all 16,000 Semi-finalists will now apply for Finalist status and then be considered for one of the prestigious National Merit Scholarships. We celebrate what Enoch, Charles, and Dylan have already achieved and wish them continued success in this competition!
