Talented, determined, creative, and hardworking are just a few
words that can be used to describe Alex Chen ’21. From being
co-captain of the tennis team to holding multiple internships,
Alex’s versatility and commitment are truly remarkable.
With hopes of finishing the baseball season with the best record
in the Delta League, the Jesuit High School Sacramento Marauders
needed a strong performance in their three-game series against
the Sheldon High School Huskies.
In the final game of the football season, Jesuit High School
Sacramento’s varsity team was looking to finish with a win. The
Marauders achieved their goal as they got a 56-42 win over the
Vista del Lago High School Eagles on Saturday, April 12.
With the fourth quarter well underway and the 2020-2021 school
year a little less than 2 months from being over, there is one
thing on every student’s mind: Easter Break.
Whether it is helping to acclimate incoming freshmen to high
school or preparing juniors and seniors for college, counselors
play an important role on the campus of Jesuit High School
Sacramento.
Each year, Jesuit High School Sacramento takes a week to look at
and explore a current social justice issue. Past topics have
included mental health and economic injustice while this year’s
event is entitled, “The Road to Brotherhood: Striving to Grow as
a Diverse Community.”
With the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
encouraging people to stay safe when celebrating the holidays due
to the pandemic, it makes sense that Thanksgiving looked much
different this year for many students of Jesuit High School
Sacramento.
With the pandemic limiting most in-person interaction, it’s
understandable that some people have struggled to find something
to pass the time. But even during an age of routine isolation,
many members of the Jesuit High School Sacramento community have
still found ways to stay busy.
