Freshman finding success on the diamond
Varsity baseball at Jesuit High School Sacramento has been
amongst the most competitive programs in the Northern California
area, with many players signing with top collegiate programs and
eventually finding their way into Major League Baseball. Because
of this competitive history, when a freshman makes the Varsity
squad, it’s noticed.
Julian Martinelli ’23: an elite teammate
As a team leader, Julian Martinelli’s ’23 had a tremendous impact
on the basketball program at Jesuit High School Sacramento.
Jesuit Auction amazes and astounds
Tuition at Jesuit High School Sacramento does not cover the full
cost of educating a student, so Jesuit has to create fundraising
activities to provide essential revenue. The Jesuit Auction event
does help to fill the gap in a fun and fruitful manner.
Reid Jones ’23: leading by example
Reid Jones ’23 has made his mark in the Jesuit High School
Sacramento community as a leader on the basketball court and a
persevering, optimistic classmate in the classroom.
Jesuit sustains seven game winning streak
From Jan. 27 to Feb. 3, the Jesuit High School
Sacramento varsity basketball team competed against Cosumnes Oaks
High School, Franklin High School, and Elk Grove High
School.
Another asset added to Jesuit’s arsenal
Every school year, Jesuit High School Sacramento gets a number of
new transfers across all grades. This year, Kevin Haupt Jr. ’24
transferred to Jesuit after completing his sophomore year at
Oakmont High School in Roseville.
Jesuit outperformed by Elk Grove in championship game
On Friday, Oct. 21, the Jesuit High School Sacramento varsity football team suited up for the Delta League Championship game against Elk Grove High School. The game was for the delta league championship with EGHS coming out on top by a score of 34-21.
