Fall & Mid-Year

We are excited to welcome our newest Marauders to Jesuit High School!

Transferring mid-year is a fast-paced process but we are here to support you every step of the way.

Event August 12, 2026 - 8:00am - 3:00pm Harris Center (on Jesuit Campus)

Mandatory Soph, Jr, Sr Student Orientations
Sophomore @ 8am / Junior @ 10:30am / Senior @ 1pm - Dress Code Required

Sophomore Orientation (8:00am – 10:00am) Student drop-off/pick-up on American River Drive
Junior Orientation (10:30am – 12:30pm) Student drop-off/pick-up by Chapel
Senior Orientation (1:00pm – 3:00pm) Student drop-off/pick-up by Chapel

Students will be taking school ID photos. Please report on time, be neatly groomed, and wear standard dress code attire. (Wear a JHS collared shirt and chino/khaki pants or shorts.)

Join us for an evening of connection and community as we celebrate the start of a new school year. Meet fellow parents, connect with school leaders, and learn about the many opportunities to engage in the Jesuit experience.

Complimentary event for all current parents. Attend alone, or we invite you to bring another adult who is a part of your student’s journey here—such as a spouse, partner, grandparent or other family member.

Transfer Student – CIF Eligibility Paperwork

Any transfer who plans to participate in athletics at Jesuit High School, once they have been accepted as a student and completed registration, must complete the following steps to ensure their athletic eligibility for all upcoming seasons.

1. Print and fill out – CIFSJS Certification Form

2. Please send the CIFSJS Certification to Robin Cummings

All students are required to have a portable computer device. Families will be able to purchase a device of their own choosing. The Jesuit High School Dress Code & Personal Appearance Policy establishes standards to ensure students experience a safe, welcoming, and mission‑centered learning environment. These expectations serve to unify our student body, fostering a shared sense of pride and belonging within the Jesuit High School community.

What do the Class Colors Mean on the Candle?
What they symbolize for each class

Each year the classes have a Farewell liturgy where they “pass” the colors on to the upcoming class. It begins for freshmen at their first Mass of the Holy Spirit. These colors are reflected in the candles used at class masses, retreats, and graduation. These candles represent a four-year journey that you begin in September.

A symbol of learning. Freshmen are called to learn our history and traditions and to embrace with patient trust the journey ahead.
