The month of May marks the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Month, a time that sheds light on the importance of mental health and encourages people who might be struggling to reach out for support. Jesuit holds annual Student Awards Convocation

On Thursday, April 27, in the Father Barry Gymnasium, Jesuit High School Sacramento celebrated its annual Student Awards Convocation. The Jesuit community in its entirety, from staff and faculty to parents, gathered together to celebrate this year’s student accomplishments.

Exploring exciting student art

On April 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Jesuit High School Sacramento will host an art showcase known as The Exhibition: Cannonball Collection. This is the first Exhibition in our history, and it will consist of pieces from the students in Digital Media and Studio Art classes. To conclude the Exhibition, there will be an awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m.

Over the last decade or so – and especially since COVID sent everyone online – the internet has become an essential part of the teaching and learning process. And while the internet has made information more accessible to all students, it has also created distracting behaviors.
