Teachers going back to school

Every so often, students get a four-day week  due to a scheduled Faculty and Staff Professional Development Day. On these days, teachers work as a group to address changes in the educational world. However, the school may be looking to change the Professional Development Day schedule to better accommodate the individual needs of teachers in the future.

Ms. Hollandsworth: making her mark on the community

This year, Jesuit High School Sacramento rewelcomes Wellness Counselor Ms. Abigail “Abby” Hollandsworth as a full-time mental health clinician in the Wellness Center. Having worked part time at Jesuit last year as a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee, Ms. Hollandsworth has already been making her mark in our community.

Ms. Bernardi seeks to serve

Administrative Assistant for the Office of Service and Justice and Campus Ministry Ms. Tina Bernardi has been a part of the Jesuit High School Sacramento community for many years now, despite only joining as an employee this summer. Her experience with the Jesuit community has helped her excel at her job right away.

The month of May marks the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Month, a time that sheds light on the importance of mental health and encourages people who might be struggling to reach out for support. On Thursday, April 27, in the Father Barry Gymnasium, Jesuit High School Sacramento celebrated its annual Student Awards Convocation. The Jesuit community in its entirety, from staff and faculty to parents, gathered together to celebrate this year’s student accomplishments.
