Jesuit looks to bounce back after Fr. Barry Tournament
From Thursday, Dec. 7 to Saturday, Dec. 9, Jesuit High School Sacramento hosted the 49th Annual Fr. Barry Classic Basketball Tournament. Jesuit welcomed seven other teams, coming from as far as Houston, Texas. In the end, Archbishop Mitty High School won the tournament, beating Brophy College Preparatory 54-52 in overtime.

As the new school year begins, the Jesuit High School Sacramento football team prepares for their upcoming season. The team has been hard at work, practicing since late June.
Jesuit loses at the Golden 1 Center, prepares for NorCals
On Saturday, Feb. 25, the Jesuit High School Sacramento varsity basketball team suited up for the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 1 Championship Game against Modesto Christian High School. Playing in the Golden One Center, the Marauders trailed the entire game ultimately losing 79-53, snapping their 13 game win streak.
Jesuit wins in the first round of the CIF-SJS playoffs
In the first round of the section playoffs, the Jesuit High School Sacramento varsity basketball team faced off against Monterey Trail High School on Wednesday, Feb. 15. The Marauders were able to secure the 67-65 win with a last second tip-in layup by Reid Jones ’23.
Jesuit wrestling prepares for the San-Joaquin Section Masters Championship
On Feb. 17, Jesuit High School Sacramento’s wrestling team will
send five members to compete at the prestigious Sac-Joaquin
Section Masters Championship. To qualify for the championship
wrestlers had to place top eight in their weight classes across
all 21 high schools in the SJS division.
Jesuit basketball maintains 10 game win streak
Historically, another basketball season has meant another
Marauder playoff run, and this year is no exception. After
beating Davis Senior High School 74-66 on the road last Friday,
the Jesuit High School Sacramento Marauders Varsity team are set
to face off against Monterey Trail High School in their first
playoff game on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Dylan Tsoi ’23: distinguished tennis talent
For the last four years, Dylan Tsoi ’23 has been a hard working,
compassionate individual. In addition to being an academically
successful student, Dylan has excelled at playing tennis and
being a “Man for Others” on and off the court.
